Tucked away in a charming neighborhood just two blocks from HSU and a short walk to the Plaza.

When you walk into this charming two bedroom home, you will not want to leave. The aged fir wood floors have a warm red glow captured in the light from the large windows in the living room. Read a book in the afternoon sunlight nestled into the alcove off the living room while your sweetie cooks a delicious homemade meal in the fully equipped kitchen. There is a queen size bed in one bedroom, perfect for recharging before your next adventure. The second bedroom is tastefully decorated and has two twin beds.

This house is just a short walk to downtown Arcata, Humboldt State University and the Arcata Community Forest.

Arcata is a small university town located between Humboldt Bay and the Arcata Redwood Forest. The spectacular rocky seacoasts, beaches, and forests of Redwood National Park are just to the north. The beautiful clear rivers of the Six Rivers National Forest are both north and south.

Redwood forests, concerts, restaurants, and movies are all a pleasant walk away. There are great restaurants in the area. In town, there is Folie Douce, Abruzzi's, Tomo's, Three Foods, the Other Placeā€¦. Renata's Creperie and Brio are great for breakfast and lunch. Moonstone Grill is right on the beach, 7 miles north, great for watching the sunset. There are lots of other little places, too.

Arcata has many community events, from the Oyster Festival, to bird watching gatherings, major entertaining acts at Humboldt State University, and a lively Saturday Farmer's Market. The Marsh Ponds are world famous for bird watching, and the Community Forest has miles of wild and remote hiking trails.

Street parking. Permitted parking on week days. There is 2 parking passes for guest use.

There is a back unit behind that is very separate from this unit. Parking is street parking.
